I offer guitar lessons in several styles from rock, metal, classical, folk/acoustic and music theory. On a steel string guitar or nylon string classical acoustic, or running thru a 100w amp with my BC Rich Warlock with EMG '85, BOSS Noise Suppressor, MXR 10 band EQ, Steve Vai "Bad Horsie" Wah and BOSS ME-50 effects pedal.
Beginning- Tuning, basic chords, progressions, introduction to scales, finger exercises, reading tableture
Intermediate- Alternate tunings, scale modes/chords from those modes, electric picking styles and acoustic fingerpicking, hammer-ons/pull-offs, 2 handed tapping, introduction to music theory
Advanced- Advanced music theory, exotic scales and applications of those scales, modes of the Harmonic minor, arpeggios and sweep/economy picking, speed and accuracy both left and right hands, and a whole bag of tricks for crazy guitar sounds.
My rate is $20/$40 for a full hour...I travel to you (Tampa / Temple Terrace area)
